Suggestions for photo and learning opportunities:
The rules are now posted for 2021 TCACCC Interclub photo competition. Our camera club is affiliated with the Twin Cities Area Council of Camera Clubs (TCACCC). This annual competition is open to all our club members.. Entries are open for submission beginning December 15, 2021, through 5 p.m. on February 6, 2021. See the rules: https://cameracouncil.org/interclub-competition/
Entries are now closed for the 2021 competition. Results are usually announced sometime around the end of March.
Again, a yearly sermon on how entering contests is a prime way of improving your skills. Feedback is limited in this contest to a rating or a score with over 1,000 entries to be judged. However, you do get some idea of your skill in relation to other photographers. More important, entering makes you look more closely at your own photos to see what you like or what you would improve in them. This process is what leads to growth.
